The LaMott Fire Company announced the passing of long time life member Joe Bates, Sr. Joe served as both Chief and President of LaMott. Both of his sons were also firefighters at LaMott. Cheltenham Fire Company, along with Elkins Park Fire Company, helped honor him at his funeral with a ladder arch. Strong work Joe, we thank you for your dedication and service. Rest in peace.
